Farm & Factory
We operate an integrated rice production system that combines sustainable farming with advanced processing technology.
By managing the entire value chain from cultivation to milling, we ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and sustainability in rice production.
Our RiCE MILL
Rice Processing
Our mill is designed to process up to 15,000 metric tons of paddy annually, using equipment such as dryers, cleaners, polishers, and color sorting technology.
This advanced processing facility ensures that our rice meets high-quality standards, clean, polished, aromatic, and ready for the market.
Mechanized Agriculture
Spring Agro uses mechanized and technology-driven farming methods to improve efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. These include tractors, combine harvesters, irrigation canals, nurseries, and storage facilities that support large-scale rice cultivation.
By combining international agricultural expertise with local knowledge, we have built a state-of-the-art rice farming operation in Ghana.
Supporting Local Farmers
Through our Outgrower Program, we work with local farmers by providing inputs, technical support, and guaranteed markets for their harvests. Over the past six years, we have worked with more than 100,000 farmers, extending our reach from the Central Tongu to North Tongu Districts in the Volta Region of Ghana, strengthening the rice value chain and supporting rural livelihoods.
Our Farms
Adidome farm
Our primary farming operations are located in Adidome in the Volta Region, adjacent to the Drakofe Reservoir. The farm currently spans over 1,000 acres, with a long-term expansion plan of up to 5,000 acres of cultivated land.
Key advantages of our farm locations include:
- The Drakofe Reservoir, located approximately 1.8 km from the farm, provides a sustainable water source for irrigation throughout the year.
- A nearly 14-km irrigation canal has been developed to channel water from the reservoir into the farm fields.
- The soil quality and climate support two rice cultivation cycles per year.
- The farm is located along a major highway with access to electricity and logistics networks.
The Adidome farm also includes sustainable agricultural facilities such as paddy yards, storage warehouses, nurseries, irrigation systems, and mechanized farming equipment designed specifically for Ghanaian farming conditions.
Akuse - Kpong Irrigation Project (KLBIP)
